ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for AUDIT_SERVER on OpenVMS VAX V7.3.  This kit addresses
the following problems:

PROBLEMS ADDRESSED IN VAXAUDS01_073 KIT:

  o  Control does not return to DCL when  issuing  a  SET  SECURITY
     command.   When  this  occurs,  the  profile for the object in
     question may  not  be  updated  on  all  nodes  in  a  cluster
     environment.

ECO KIT ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:

INSTALLATION NOTES:

Install this kit with the VMSINSTAL utility  by  logging  into  the
SYSTEM account, and typing the following at the DCL prompt:

@SYS$UPDATE:VMSINSTAL VAXAUDS01_073 [location of the saveset]

The saveset location may be a tape drive, CD, or a  disk  directory
that contains the kit saveset.

No reboot is necessary after successful installation of the kit.

Restarting the Audit_Server is all that is required  once  the  new
image is in place.  This can be done with the following sequence of
commands:

$ SET AUDIT/SERVER=EXIT    ! Stop Execution of current AUDIT_SERVER
                           process
$ SET AUDIT/SERVER=START   ! Kick off new AUDIT_SERVER process
$ SET AUDIT/SERVER=INIT    ! Enable AUDIT and OBJECT server
                           operations
