ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO (patch) kit exists for MTAAACP on OpenVMS VAX V5.3 through
V5.4-2. This kit addresses the following problems:
o When a magnetic tape mounted in Files-11 format is dismounted,
the system crashes with an XQPERR bugcheck. An analysis of the
crash dump using an SDA (System Dump Analyzer) SHOW CRASH
command reveals that the current process is MTAAACP.
o When performing a COPY to a labeled tape on a TA90 or TA90E and
Volume 2 is needed, the cartridge is automatically loaded.
However, the COPY operation does not continue. An operator must
REPLY to the OPCOM request to load Volume 2 before the COPY
operation will continue.
o The maximum variable-length record is 9991 bytes versus 9995
bytes as documented.
