ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO (patch) kit exists for PUDRIVER.EXE on OpenVMS VAX V5.2 -
V5.3-2. This kit addresses the following problems:

o MicroVAX I systems or Systems with a KDB50 local disk adapter may
crash with a PGFIPLHI or INVEXCEPTN bugcheck. This problem only
occurs in specialized applications that write to disk using the
direct QIO interface and the I/Os are done to or from buffers
that are not word aligned.

o Operations (e.g., COPY, CONVERT, SORT) to a DUxx disk and/or
MUxx tape device (e.g.,DUA0:, MUA0:) on a MicroVAX or VAXstation
system may fail with a fatal controller error.

INSTALLATION NOTES:

In order for the corrections in this kit to take effect, the system
must be rebooted. If the system is a member of a VAXcluster, the
